Before Filing a Copyright Complaint

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be held liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, if you knowingly misrepresent that material or activity is infringing. If you are unsure whether the material infringes your copyright, consider seeking legal advice before submitting a notification.

We may share your infringement notice or counter-notification with the user who posted the material or with third parties. If you are concerned about the disclosure of your information, you may prefer to have an authorized agent submit the complaint on your behalf.

How to Submit a Notification of Infringement

If you believe that content available on our Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification ("Notification") by providing the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
  • Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, including information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material. Please provide URLs of the specific web pages where the infringing material is located.
  • Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your Notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is acceptable).

Please ensure that your Notification complies with the DMCA requirements to facilitate prompt and effective processing.

Our Response to Notifications

Upon receiving a valid Notification, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. We will make a good faith effort to contact the user who posted the material with information about the removal or restriction.

Please note that we reserve the right to take no action if the Notification does not meet the DMCA requirements.
